Green house solutions

Agricultural applications

Photosynthesis is a chemical process that uses light energy to convert CO2 and water to sugars in plants. Sugar is the building material for fruits and vegetables. Thus a green house without ventilation can drop the levels of CO2 to less than 340ppm. This is contra productive for plant growth. On the opposite if the level of CO2 is risen it will help production to rise.

To control the green house environment, you need to monitor the CO2 level and control ventilation or generate CO2. Our sensors are used in a link where data is used in an automation system. When CO2 is generated, safety for humans becomes an issue and at some levels vegetables or crop can be damaged.

Sensor challenges

The green house environment is a great test bench for sensor quality. Humidity and heat can reach extreme levels. Even though coating of the electronics is offered by us there are clients that find our sensors reliable without.

Since a greenhouse will not provide a “normal” level (400ppm) for calibration we recommend manual calibration once a year

Adaptable platforms

Most of our OEM customers need  ready to install products and solutions. You will find your solutions on one of five Adaptable Platforms where we can start our journey together. You can buy our sensors as stand alone (Sensor Core), mounted on a pcb (Sensor onBoard) with other functions such as communication, power and other sensors.

You will also find that we have extended warranties when we deliver white label casing (Sensor inCase) with all functions.
