Sensors expo & conference

Meet us in booth 1733 at Sensors Expo, June 25th - 27th in San Jose.

Have a sneak peek of our brand new Optical Solid-State sensor, configure your own unique solution in our sales tool or talk to our dedicated sales people about A2L refrigerant solutions.

We'll see you in booth 1733 at Sensors Expo, June 25th - 27th in San Jose.

On Wednesday, June 26th at 10:00 - also come and listen to Don O'Brien, Director of Global Accounts & Marketing, talking about The Solid-State Paradigm Shift in Gas Sensing Technologies.

NDIR (nondispersive infrared) based gas sensing solutions continue to evolve; whether to shrink in size, or in price, or to improve in measuring performance, in multifunction, or in energy consumption. This session reviews the current-state NDIR technology and its core components, and from there present some of the evolved design paths taking NDIR gas sensors into many new products and applications. Absorption spectroscopy has always been viewed as a highly accurate measuring technology, but too expensive or poorly fitted for many applications. The paradigm shift with Solid-State optics for NDIR-based gas sensing technologies is the dawning of the next current-state, a sunrise for the air and gas sensors- and data-driven tomorrow.

Carl Bengtsson has worked with Senseair since 2008. He started out as a test and development engineer within R&D in Sweden and has since positioned himself to bridge the knowledge gap across Engineering, Sales and Marketing. For the past 6 years he worked as support for customer applications, new product development, technical sales and training. Carl was also contact person in many European joint-research projects, especially for emerging environmental and atmospheric applications. In 2018, Carl relocated with family to the United States to grow and support the new Senseair North America headquarter in Chicagoland. He is now the American technical lead and Field Application Engineer, with one foot still in Sweden as part of the Product Management team.
