Senseair has released the S88 GH, a new CO₂ sensor module developed specifically for greenhouse and indoor farming applications.

Built on the proven S88 platform, the S88 GH addresses one of the most challenging sensing environments in agriculture: sustained high humidity, high CO₂ concentrations, and fluctuating temperatures. With a measurement range up to 20 000 ppm, operation at 0–50 °C and 0–95 % RH, and readings every second, the S88 GH delivers accurate and fast CO₂ monitoring where other sensors struggle.

The launch of the S88 GH reflects a clear need for a robust, greenhouse-specific CO₂ sensor. Many existing sensors were adapted from other industries and are not engineered to withstand greenhouse climates, leading to drift or failure in sustained humidity. The S88 GH closes this gap with a reliable, long-life platform optimised for agricultural environments.

As part of the S88 family, the S88 GH also inherits the platform’s familiar form factor, interface philosophy, and traceable calibration process. For integrators already working with the S8 or S88 series, adopting the S88 GH requires minimal redesign effort while expanding capability to higher CO₂ ranges and more demanding environments.
