New products, Senseair Sunlight R290 & RDS

Senseair extends its A2l and A3 refrigerant sensor offering

As two new products hit production, we are happy to announce that we have complete coverage of all popular refrigerants. This allows us to cover a wide range of applications across different markets with different regulations for the use of refrigerants. The Sunlight series utilizes the same reliable NDIR technology as the rest of our product portfolio, providing reliable and accurate measurements with minimal energy consumption. Immunity to poisoning and the ABC algorithm provides accurate readings throughout the maintenance free 15-year lifespan which saves time and money, making it a small investment with a big payoff.

Sunlight R290, R32 & R454A/B/C

Joining the Sunlight R32 (configurable as R454A/B/C) is our brand-new Sunlight R290. This sensor completes our refrigerant sensor portfolio making it easy for you to pick one sensor for all your A2L and A3 needs. With different refrigerants being used in different markets, there will always be a sensor to meet your needs. The Sunlight series is compliant with IEC standards 60079-29-1 and 60335-2-40 ed.7, as well as UL 60335-2-40 ed.4. Its small and sleek design allows for easy installation.

The RDS

The Refrigerant Detection System, or RDS for short, is in essence the Sunlight in a box build. It is a protective housing that boasts a full IP66 & IP67 rating, and protects the sensor from water, dust, oil and electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for harsh, unpredictable, or simply environments where the unforeseen cannot be a variable. Flexible connectors allow the customer to communicate by Modbus RS485 and analogue connections. Being quick and easy to deploy even in aftermarket installations, it is the perfect solution for rapid and critical implementation.
