How Senseair Drives Quality and On-Time Delivery
Quality and delivery, built into every operation.
Senseair production is currently at 99% on-time delivery. For Roger Färlin, Head of Production at Senseair, the target is still clear: 100%.
Reaching that level consistently depends on having the right processes in place throughout production. Planning and forecasting provide the foundation, but just as important is making sure that what the customer expects is understood at every stage.
“You need to have a good planning and forecast process in place,” Roger says.
Turning customer expectations into quality
The same thinking applies to quality.
For Roger, quality starts with understanding the customer’s expectations. The important part is then translating those expectations and specifications into clear requirements for each individual operation.
“The tricky part is to transfer those expectations and specifications into requirements for each and every operation.”
In practice, this means that everyone involved in production needs to understand what their part of the process needs to achieve. Each operation contributes to the final result, creating a direct connection between the customer’s requirements and the finished sensor.
When the requirements are clear at every stage, quality becomes something that is built into the process rather than something that is only checked at the end.
“And when you meet that, you also know that you are going to meet the customer expectations. In the end, that’s good quality for me.”
Built on decades of True NDIR expertise
This focus on quality and consistency is backed by more than 30 years of experience with True NDIR technology.
Senseair’s sensors are manufactured in our factory in Delsbo, Sweden. Heredecades of expertise in NDIR sensing come together with the processes and experience required to produce sensors consistently at scale.
That experience provides a strong foundation for continuously refining how sensors are developed, manufactured and tested. The goal is not only to produce a sensor that meets its specification, but to provide consistent performance that customers can rely on over time.

Consistency from production to the customer
A good plan needs to be in place, with the objective straightforward: products should be delivered on the date agreed with the customer.
Today, Senseair is at 99% on-time delivery. It is a result Roger is proud of, while still keeping the final percentage firmly in sight.
“We are at 99% on-time delivery. That is something I’m very proud of, and we always have this 100% that we are trying to achieve.”
For Senseair, quality, reliability and consistency are also central to our Senseair Signature Performance.
The 99% on-time delivery rate is one practical reflection of that approach. Behind the number are the planning, production processes and attention to quality that make it possible.
For the customer, much of this work happens in the background.
What matters is that the requirements are understood, the sensor meets them and the order arrives when agreed.
