Senseair introduces S12 CO₂, a new ultra-compact true NDIR CO₂ sensor developed for applications where space, power consumption and long-term reliability are critical. S12 CO₂ embodies Senseair Signature Performance, combining proven true NDIR technology with the stability, accuracy and long-term dependability that customers expect from Senseair sensors.

During development, the sensor was lovingly called “Micro”, a name that reflects its compact footprint and the ambition to deliver true NDIR CO₂ performance in a very small format. That thinking remains at the core of Senseair S12 CO₂, and you may still hear us refer to the sensor as Micro in discussions from time to time.

Senseair S12 CO₂ is built on proven NDIR technology using an LED light source, delivering stable and reliable CO₂ measurement with very low power consumption. The sensor is designed for maintenance-free operation and long service life. It complies with key indoor air quality standards including ANSI/ASHRAE 62.1-2022, RESET Grade B, Title 24 California Energy Code and WELL Building Standard® (WELL v2™).

Senseair S12 CO₂ will be physically revealed at AHR Expo 2026, February 2–4, at booth C746, shared with Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM), Senseair’s parent company.
