Sunlight Methane

Senseair Sunlight Methane is a compact NDIR sensor for reliable methane monitoring in a small, low-power format. Built on proven optical technology, it is designed for stable long-term performance in products where CH₄ measurement needs to be deployed.

Each sensor is individually factory calibrated and its solid-state design gives immunity to poisoning, maintenance-free operation and very low power consumption over time.

What is Senseair Sunlight Methane?

Senseair Sunlight Methane is a compact NDIR methane sensor for measuring CH₄ up to 5 %vol. It is designed for product engineers who need reliable methane monitoring in a low-power sensor format.

What measurement range does Sunlight Methane support?

Sunlight Methane measures methane from 0–5 %vol. The standard range is 0–1.25 %vol and the extended range is 1.25–5 %vol.

Why use NDIR for methane monitoring?

NDIR is an optical sensing principle with immunity to poisoning and strong long-term stability. This makes it suitable for methane monitoring products where dependable behaviour over time is important.

Is Sunlight Methane maintenance-free?
