The sensor is based on a solid-state NDIR design with no moving parts, supporting stable performance in permanently installed equipment and in environments exposed to vibration and temperature variation. Automatic baseline correction enables maintenance-free operation over a long service life, making the sensor suitable for installations with limited access for recalibration.

Senseair Sunlight CO₂ 2% is developed for embedded systems and volume production, with a compact format and defined operating behaviour that support predictable system-level performance over time.
